Freequently Asked Questions

Why should I bother to register and sign-in?

Registering and signing-in can be very important. I reserve some material for family and friends and that information will not be displayed if you are not logged-in. If a visitor logs-in a link labeled 'Extras' will appear in the sub-menu at the lower right hand corner of the page. The idea is that there are some links that the general public is probably not interested in. A family member's photo album page for example. Anyone who would take the time to log in, such as close family and friends, would be more likely to want to see items such as these. It also allows me to keep track of who visits my site and what content is being read the most.

Where was that picture up above taken?
That photo was taken somewhere along the road in Ireland. My uncle and I were visiting my cousin who was on study abroad in Galway, Ireland at the time. In this photo we were on our way back from visiting some very beautiful sights.

What is a Content Management System?
A content management system (CMS) is software that keeps track of every piece of content on a web site, much like your local public library keeps track of books and stores them. Content can be simple text, photos, music, video, documents, or just about anything you can think of. A major advantage of using a Content Management System is that it requires almost no technical skill or knowledge to manage.

Log-In

Logging-in is completely OPTIONAL. If visitors register and log-in it allows me to see how many visitors my site receives and other useful information like this.
